Cognitive (i.e., systems-level) computational (neuro)science; emergent properties of AI networks as an accessible methodological approach to studying the development of complex biological systems); AI "dysfunction" (i.e., "hallucinations", perseverative chain-of-thought) as a possible analytic (or at least informative) window into experimental psychopathology, as my training/background is as a clinical psychologist and affective neuroscientist. From an applied perspective, the utility of AI tools as a possible "assistive technology device" for persons with neurocognitive disabilities (e.g., dementia, severe mental illness, even neurodevelopmental conditions).
